Parking facilities

Coming with your own dragon boat? We advise you to leave your boat on Aqualac beach the day before (Saturday 1st June) and park your trailer at Esplanade du Petit Port, 73100 Aix-les-Bains, in order to access the beach from the North. Trailer parking spaces will be identified and reserved for this purpose by the organisers.
To benefit from these spaces, please contact sonia@dragonboat-attitude.fr as soon as possible.

Boats

Dragon boat, C9, Vaa: only team boats are allowed, so that we can all paddle at the same speed and enjoy the beauty of Lac du Bourget together. This is a non-timed trip, not a race. For teams who are unable to transport their own boat, the organisers are offering dragons boats for hire as well as the services of a helm if required.
To benefit from this service, please contact Sonia: sonia@dragonboat-attitude.fr

Meals & snacks

Your registration includes :
Saturday 1 June: a welcome drink near the Aix-les-Bains sailing club (290 Bd Robert Barrier, 73100 Aix-les-Bains). Welcome from 4pm to 6pm, drinks at 5pm.
Sunday 2 June:
o Meal for all at Chatillon beach, between the 2nd and 3rd stopover (approx. 12pm)
o Snacks at breaks/refreshment points identified by the organisers during the Tour.

Need energy to paddle? Of course, be prepared and bring your water bottles and race snacks to hydrate and snack on during the paddle.

Team composition

Teams on the water need to be made of up to 16 paddlers in standard boats and up to 8 paddlers in small boats.

Relays

Transporting paddlers to the relay points is the responsibility of the teams themselves. It is up to each team that has chosen the relay option to organise its own vehicles and drivers to pick up its paddlers. The precise GPS coordinates of the relay points will be communicated at a later date.

Helm

The Tour of Lac du Bourget is a friendly paddle, with no timekeeping or rankings. However, it is a large lake on which waves can form. Helms must be experienced and are asked to sign the certificate of qualification, which can be downloaded HERE and returned to sonia@dragonboat-attitude.fr.
